An interior design project that transforms space into experience, simplicity into refinement, silence into design.
In the heart of Domodossola, “The elegance of quiet” takes shape in the renovated rooms of Palazzo 7, a place where history meets a new contemporary aesthetic made up of clean lines, soft colors, and carefully studied details.
The project involved the complete redevelopment of the rooms, maintaining a constant balance between formal simplicity and widespread comfort. Natural materials—wood, stone, neutral fabrics—interact with design elements of sober forms, creating relaxing but never impersonal atmospheres.
The project unfolds on several levels and tells a story: from the staircase, where rough stone meets the grazing light of vertical LED strips, to the intimate and bright rooms, designed as timeless retreats. The custom-made furnishings optimize the space without compromising its visual lightness, while the carefully selected works of art and touches of color add depth and personality.
The color palette, featuring sand, warm gray, white, and powder pink, gently accompanies guests, amplifying their sense of well-being. The exposed beams, natural parquet flooring, and black painted iron details evoke an authentic, understated materiality.
Each room thus becomes a livable and vibrant space, capable of welcoming without being intrusive, of exciting without being excessive. An exercise in balance, precision, and warmth, signed by MILANI.
